Notebook Asus M50SV Benchmarks

Hello guys!

Here you are all my benchmarks done on my personal notebook, an Asus M50SV with the following techical details:

CPU: Intel Core2Duo T9300 2.5Ghz 800Mhz FSB

Memory: 3Gb DDR 667Mhz in Dual-Channel Asynchronus

Hard Disk: 250Gb 5400Rpm

Video Card: 9500M GS 512Mb DDR2 (475/950/400 Default)

SCORES:

PC Mark Vantage: 3839 (with the overclock it doesn't really change…)

PCMark05: 5532

3DMark06(1024x768): 4489

3DMark06(1024x768 Overclocked):
  • 4929 (525/1050/451)
  • 5155 (550/1100/475) [81°] [Gaming]
  • 5262 (575/1150/475) [82°]
  • 5548 (650/1300/475) [85°] [Gaming eXtreme]

3DMark06(1280x800): 4000 (about)

3DMark06(1280x800 overclocked): 4969 (650/1300/475) [83°] [Gaming eXtreme]

NOTE: Memory at 510mhz crash!

I made all the overclocks with RivaTuner, “Gaming eXtreme” mode it's not that stable, should modify the voltages… But I don't suggest it to anyone because it's dangerous for your card.

Gaming FPS experiences:

Counter-Strike Source: Everything ON at 1280x1024 using the Gaming eXtreme overclock the average FPS is 76 but computer crash after 2 hours of playing... Using a not overclocked system the average FPS go down to 61.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2: 1024x768 with max details but setting AA not over 4x, the game is smooth… If you want to increase the resolution the I suggest you to turn completaly OFF the AA! This game stay stable even after hours of playing and using the eXtreme Gaming overclock!

Assassin’s Creed: This game is really cool but it's really hardware hungry! It crash even with a little overclock so it's really unuseful... Anyway you can actually enjoy this game by setting a resolution of 800x600, max details with no AA and no overclock!

If I will have the time to tests other games, I will update this post!

I hope this is useful for someone who is going to buy a M50SV,

Regards!
