Do you already know that Windows Vista 32bit (x86) is not able to use more then 3.5gb of RAM? If not, well, now you do... But don't worry, today I will explain a little trick to avoid this problem and let your "favorite" OS, read and USE (with the Service Pack 1 you can actually SEE the right quantity of RAM but it doesn't UTILIZE all!) a higher ammount of memory!
In short we will just replace some files, so don't worry because that's easy! Let's begin:
1) We need some files from Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition... You don't have it? Not a problem! Just go here and download the package!
2) IMPORTANT: Since this technique is pretty unstable I suggest you to make a complete backup of your Computer before continuing, so that if something after the hack goes wrong or you are unsatisfied about the results you can always proceed with a fresh and clean restore! Take at least, a backup copies of these original files:
3) Go to "Start" and run "Services" (in the search box), find and stop the "Software Licensing service".
4) Take ownership and grant full control permissions to logged on user account or Administrators user group for the 2 files (you can download and include this registry file, it will adds a new voice inside the right click menu that allow to gain full control on any files):
5) Now you can replace those original files with the ones download before!
6) Restart and you are done!
